Easter is on Sunday April 8^th this year.

 

        My brother lives next door to the Rain Man, the real Rain man in Orem Utah. My step brother Keith

Hickenlooper and Rain Man, (Darley) were born forty years ago on Easter Sunday in Orem, in the same hospital.

        Darley was just a person until Dustin heard about his ability to solve math problems.

        Rain Man was popularized in the movie by the same name. Dustin decided to make the movie Rain Man along

with Tom Cruise. The rest is history. Darley became independently wealthy from the success of the movie and has

since been on talk shows and many other public appearances. He is still in his wheel chair and plans to be with Keith

for a big 50 year birthday celebration in Orem on Easter.

      Dustin often came to Orem while making the movie to talk with Darley, so as to help make the movie more

realistic. Dustin, Tom Cruise, writers, producers, made the movie “Rain Man.”
