Short Story
I went to Russia in 1978
My mom and
dad invited me to go with them to Russia. My dad was
on the board of Regents at
Utah State University. Seventy people signed up for the tour. We met at the SLC AIR PORT, and we
flew to NY, stopping
at Amsterdam and finally Helsinki Finland.
A train took us to Moscow where we visited
Red Square, we watched the changing of the
Guard, and looked at a beautiful church in a state of restoration.
We also walked through the worlds
largest department store “Gum”.
Then flew to Leningrad
where we saw Saint Petersburg Palace.
Then a flight
home after two weeks.
To be continued…
