        Doin’ some hard traveling           

 

          HARD TRAVEL'IN

 

I done some heavy drinkin drove down

A long, long freeway road.

I just wanted you to know

I did some hard ramin’

On the long, long road

 

I was given five to twenty,

In state prison

I wanted you to know

I’ve been doin’ some hard travelin’

I thought you'd want to know.

 

I was given time for the wreck

I caused, on the long, long road.

I’ve been doin’some hard livin

I wish you had for given

My life now isn't worth living.
