A Fourteen Year Old Girl’s First Love


Dear Diary,

      A very cute boy approached me four weeks ago. He asked me if I had any fish I could sell him. I said no. He then asked me to sit down, he had something to show me, and so I did. It was pictures of many fish, different looking fish bound in a loose leaf. This all happened at lunch time in the cafeteria. After fifth period, he walked me home and we have been together every day since. We have so much in common. We both love to talk about stuff, love art, love music and more.

      I have had a few years watching boys and being with my brothers. I wrote a list of what I wanted in a
boy a couple of years ago and a relationship type I was looking for. I looked at it after I met him and he
had all the exact qualities I had written. Awesome! He was exactly the one.

      We have spent a lot of time together, sharing our dreams, and talking laughing getting to know each
other, it just gets better and better. We are both very total, and love to kiss. His name is Gene. I feel so
fortunate to be his girlfriend and in his life. He fulfills me.

     On our second date, he gave me a promise ring he made out of plastic bread ties. It’s just darling.
