Einstein instantly becomes world famous Newton forgive me, I’ve explained gravity in a new way, Happy birthday Albert Einstein 1940 Becomes an American citizen Look at the flag as it floats on high, Streaming aloft in the clear, blue sky Rippling, leaping, tugging away, In the sunshine, bright as the day, Throbbing with life where the world may see, Flag of our country, flag of the free. Happy birthday Albert Einstein He opened a window for us To see the origin of the universe, A Sherlock Holmes, a violinist was he There’s an old year going, going, Happy birthday Albert Einstein And in the winter when he was old His hair turned white like snow and His footsteps go slow; good-by to you, Weary old dear, died at seventy-six There’s no dew left on the daisies and clover, There’s no rain left in the heavens, I’ve said my seventy times one over and over Seventy six times one is seventy six.
